Traveling with 2 toddlers
Did anyone have any issues with airlines gate checking 2 strollers. I'm traveling with my 18 mo and 2.5 year old and will have a stroller for both. Dh is coming as well. One ds has a seat and the other doesn't. Airline is telling me the child with the seat the stroller counts as his one bag. Let me know if anyone has heard of this. We are traveling to ireland.
TIA

Are you flying Aer Lingus? When we went, DD didnt have a seat and her stroller did not count as a checked bag. She got a baggage allowance as well as the stroller. Not sure if this is the case if she had her own seat, but they are pretty good on Aer Lingus and probably wont give you a hard time. The info on their website is a little vague on that point.

Thanks We are flying AerLingus and they said the stroller is a bag for my 2 year old. I sent an email to confirm. They may handle it differently there esp since I only want to gate check it. Did you bring a carseat? They said that was luggage to.

Re: Traveling with 2 toddlers
No advice, but for traveling internationally by air with two toddlers. My family would LOVE for us to visit but I want to wait until the boys are older -- I'm too chicken to do it now.

no we borrowed a carseat from family there. That is very annoying that they wont give him a baggage allowance beyond his stroller and carseat. I hope they give you better info in a response email. I will be in this situation bc we are planning to go at christmas and I will have an infant and 2.5 then as well.
