Traveling to Turkey
My cousin owns an apartment in this amazing 5-star resort in Turkey. She has offered the place for us for the week I am off in February. Dh and I were planning to go with friends and then I found I am PG. At the time of the trip, I will be about 4.5 months pregnant. Do you think it's a good idea to go? I am most worried about the flight. Since the apartments have been mainly bought out by Irish and English investors, there are lots of Irish markets and such where I will be able to get something that I can/want to eat and also there is a kitchen in the apartment where we can cook anything else.
Would you still go? We really want a little trip before the baby, but I don't want to go if it's not safe. It would be about 9-10 hour flight with a layover. I have my first OB appointment on Friday so I'll ask then, but what is everyone else's experiences traveling during the second trimester?

Re: Traveling to Turkey
I would totally go!!
The flight may be uncomfortable-- but there is nothing to worry about in terms of safety. Sounds like too good of an opportunity to pass up.
