Traveling to Shea & Yankee stadiums with 10 month old

We now live in FL and are traveling to NY to go to 1 last game at Shea and Yankee stadiums. I was hoping to drive to the stadiums but I think with the construction we're better off taking the LIRR/subway. Do you have any suggestions on doing this with a 10 month old? I've been trying to scheme a way to use the stroller but I think it's impossible since you can't bring them into the stadiums. Is he too old for the Baby Bjorn? I haven't used it since he was 3 months old. I'm dreading carrying all 23.5 lbs of him for those distance, he's so darn heavy!

We took Dd to Shea last month and took teh train and used the snugli. She was a liitle over 16 pounds at 9 months, so DH carried her.

If we took the stroller we'd have no where to put it in the stadium. She loved the Snugli since she could see everything.

I saw people in Shea with umbrella strollers but I have no idea where the put them when they were at their seats.

DD is 10 months and we were just at a Yankee/Met Game at Shea. We drove there, arrived very early and still had to park pretty far away but there was a shuttle bus. We carried DD and had no complaints.

We took DD to her first Mets game on Mothers Day. I had called the stadium and found out where we were sitting (picnic area - the bleachers) if we could bring a stroller. Thankfully we were able to and even had an elevator available to us (although I was pretty uncomfortable with it). I went up and down with the stroller and DH carried DD up the stairs.
I couldn't have the stroller right at my seat, but my family was there and at least next to someone I knew. It basically served the purposed of holding everyones belongings during the game.

We actually drove there early and I fed DD her lunch before we went into the game.

We went to Yankee staduim last weekend (July 4th vs. Red Sox) with DD (8 months old) and we drove in. We have no problems at all and parked in a garage down the block and used the stroller. You can take them in. I actually felt like a VIP. We were walking in and one of the attendants saw us and motioned us over and let us up the ramp. I was very surprised. We did leave early to aviod the crowds at the end though.

We go to Shea often with DS. He's 5 mos but big - about 18lbs. I always Bjorn him because we're in a box. If we were in the regular rows I would consider an umbrella stroller because you can fold it up and place it under your seats and just hold DC in your lap.

We drove to Shea on Fathers Day and shockingly had no problems parking. We also brought the Maclaren with us but the only reason we had space to put it was because we had an extra ticket with an empty seat. I was glad we drove bc he lasted all of 4 innings and I was able to get of there quickly with him. It would have gotten ugly if I had a 45min subway ride back...
