Travel Question
I am a regular poster, but I have some lurkers watching me so I made up a secret name. I have a question though.
I am 8 months pregnant. DH and I were invited to an event out of state, about 3 hours away. Would you go or feel safe traveling this far along?

Re: Travel Question
We just drove to Pittsburgh, a 6 hour drive and I was 29 weeks. I slept most of the way, we stopped when ever I needed too which was only once each way...since I was sleeping I didn't really need to go to the bathroom much.

Re: Travel Question
As long as I'm feeling ok, I'm planning on spending several days over the Thanksgiving weekend (it will be 1 month before my due date) at my parents' house, which is 2.5-3 hours away.
Would you be staying overnight? I'm not sure I'd want to spend 6 hours in the car on one day.

Re: Travel Question
I am planning my 1st Anniversary/Babymoon when I am 34 weeks and we'll be going about 3 and 1/2 hours away. If you feel good then I'd do it!! Worst case scenario... you deliver early! I am sure they have hospitals wherever you are going!

Re: Travel Question
3 hrs is not so bad. I'd definitley consider it. But check with your Dr first. He/she will probably want you to make frequent stops so you can move around.

Re: Travel Question
i would go as long as it wasn't more than an overnight stay. three hours isn't so far away that i'd feel uncomfortable.

Re: Travel Question
I'm hoping to go to my friend's wedding in NJ (I'm in CT) at 36.5 weeks. It's about a 2.5 hour drive and we'd probably stay over.

Re: Travel Question
I would probably still go, 3 hours is not that bad. But it depends on how you are feeling, so take that into consideration.
