Trash Problem
We're not living in our house yet but we're doing work there so we've got a decent amount of trash that has accumulated. Since we're not there for pickup times and won't be for a couple more weeks, is there a place (like a dump) that I can bring it to dispose of it? We're in RVC. Thanks!

Are you far away from your new home?
We just bought a house and were doing work so we just drove over the night before bulk pick-up day and placed all our stuff on the curb. In some towns/villages you can call to schedule a special bulk pick-up but i'm not sure if RVC does this.

Unfortunately, we're in the city. I think we can schedule a bulk pickup but even that might be tough to get it all out there at the right time. I wish there was a dump we could just bring it to!

can you ask any friends or family members if any of them have access to a dump???
you need to be a town resident to go to the dumps

Got my answer in case anyone ever needs it...
TOH Disposal Center is on Merrick Rd in Merrick, however, if you're a resident of a village with its own sanitation, you can't use it. If you live in RVC, you can drop off at 10 Sunrise Hwy but only on the 1st and 3rd Sat of the month (which is very annoying  )

my husband uses this dump very often (we're doing some construction). we live in east meadow. he just has to show his license as proof of town of hempstead residency and they let him in.
