Transitioning to Milk
How did you transition to milk? A slow process or cold turkey? I tried doing a slow transition today (2 oz milk/6 oz formula) and my DS had diarrhea. He had no issues with breast milk or formula. I wanted to do a slow transition but I'm curious as to what y'all did.

Since my DH is nuts..lol!
We did a "step down program"
Every 3 days we lowered the amount of formula by 1 oz...and upped the milk by 1 oz....so by my DS birthday he will be on All Milk..

We did a slow transition over a week. We started 2/6, then 4/4, then 6/2. We had a little constipation, but no other issues.

This is how I did it with DS. He was on gentlease formula until 7-8 months and I transitioned him back to regular enfamil for a few months and then about 11 months I transitioned him to whole milk. 1m/7f, 2m/6f, 3m/5f, 4m/4f, 5m/3f, etc. stayed on each "level" for 3-4 days.
