Transition to crib = SUCCESS!
I posted a couple of weeks ago asking for advice on how to transition dd to her crib. Well, the other night I decided I was going to get her to sleep in that crib even if it meant that I wouldn't get any sleep. It took a few hours the first night. She kept crying so I just rubbed her back or held her hand until she calmed down. I picked her up a few times too and then put her down when she seemed sleepy again. This went on for a few hours and was a little stressful BUT it worked! She ended up sleeping for almost 12 hours straight! This has been going on for the past few nights. Now it takes about an hour to get her to fall asleep. It's getting easier each night. Just wanted to post my experience because I know we all go through this and need advice. Don't give up! You might be tired the first few nights from lack of sleep but it's worth it!

Re: Transition to crib = SUCCESS!
So glad you were successful! I am dreading the transition with my DS soon but it helps to hear encouraging stores like yours.
