Train tips...
We are taking DS into the city on Fri. 16th to see sesame st live...
We will be taking the train...
We will be taking a 10 or 11 o'clock in (the show is @ 2)- so Im not worried about it being to crowded... BUT coming home- (Im assuming the show end at 4ish) we will be leaving around 5 or 6ish...
Im really nervous about it being peak time... but unfortunately we dont have a choice...Its way too cold to stay and walk around the city-
What time does peak time end?

If the show ends at 4:00 and you go right down stairs to Penn you should be fine. Penn and the LIRR gest reall busy from about 4:30 - 7:00
