party help
We are having a christening with 125 adults and 20 kids - how do I fugure out how many 2 liter bottles of soda and bottles of wine to buy?

Very hard to estimate this and I always tend to over purchase. But then I would rather have too much then run out.
You need to figure out what percentage of people might drink wine and whether they are red or white drinkers.
If you are only serving soda (besides wine) you have to figure about 3 people per bottle. I would recommend serving something else in addition to soda - lemonaide, ice tea, etc, not everyone drinks soda anymore and it could be a lot cheaper.

just tell your beer/soda distributor how many people you will be having, and they'll be able to give you an idea of how many bottles to get.
