 One tone area rug
Where can I get a one color rug. The only place I could thing of was Home depot. What they do is they let you pick wall to wall carpeting in color that you like and than just cut out to the size you want it.
I just went to Home Depot and picke dup about 15 samples although I have a very strong feeling i m not gonna like any of them...
Another problem is it turns out to be too expensive for the quality that they offer...
  Where else can I go??

 Re: One tone area rug
ooh, try empire or another capret store. If they have scraps (large enough for an area rug), they sell them fairly cheap. My mother did this for the basement years ago. She found one at a carpet store in Commack and got it dirt cheap

 Re: One tone area rug
What kind of fiber are you looking for? Pottery Barn has 1 tone, natural fiber area rugs...

 Re: One tone area rug
hhm, don't see any on their website... perhaps I should pay a visit... love that place!
NOt sure which material I would want. I don't want anythign too expensive because we have toddler, so I will settle for soemthign synthetic if it looks nice and is very very reasonably priced...
That's the problem with Home depot: a 5x8 wll cost me over $400 and it is all nylon...

 Re: One tone area rug
Do you need a large rug? I bought 2 rugs from a carpet store that wer ewall to wall, they they cut down & bound. They aren't totally solid, they're speckled gray.
I also have 2 smaller solid rugs in a hallway with a leaf pattern in the weave, that I think I got in JC Penney.
