Are you married to a City Worker who sometimes works for 24 hour shifts and you feel like youre always by yourself and have everything to do ?
And then when they finally come home they do nothing ???? But what is good for them ???
I guess I am 8 1.2 months PG and sometimes tired of sleeping alone ??

I know how you feel. My husband is a city cop and our hours are opposite also. I see him for 1 1/2 days a week. I am only 6 1/2 weeks pregnant and was crying about this all weekend. I feel soooo LONELY!!!! I can't expect my friends to hang out with me everyday, ya know?

I'm married to a Union Carpenter (local 608). He usually works 8-10 months a year, but even with the weeks off (ie laid off), its still sad. He wakes up at 4Am and goes to bed at 8PM. I don't get home until 6:45PM so only an hour a day I see my hubby. But we always see each other on the weekend!!

Re: Anyone married to a City worker who does 24 hours out of the house ???
My husband is a fireman here in Atlanta, and he just switched fire depts so he has to go back to rookie school for a few weeks (even though he's been on the dept for 15 years). But anywho, now he's home everyday. I get home from work at 7:30, so we see eachother every night. I have to be honest, I cannot wait for him to go back to doing 24-48 hour shifts. I love my husband to death, but I'm so used to him being gone that having him home all the time is starting to get to me, especially b/c he doesn't really help around the house b/c he's so exhausted. I know...I'm a horrible wife!
But, I'm not pregnant. I think if I was pregnant, it would be a totally different story!!
