Diner in the East Northport area

Dix Hills Diner has gone downhill if you ask me. Candlelight in Commack is nothing to write home about either.
We actually go to the new one on Commack Road (yes, a little out of the way) but everything there is awesome. It's just north of the LIE on Commack Road right in front of a hotel, Hampton Inn I think. Expect a wait though at peak times. Can't remember the name.

actually, now that i think of it, no!
You can head over to Dix Hills Diner where Jericho forks w/ E. Deer Park Rd, or head to Candlelight in Commack....but neither of those are really good!
The diner down Commack Rd (by the LIE) is pretty good

Does it have to be a diner? The one on Jericho is so-so. If not, I prefer Baja Grill or Green Cactus.

Blech!!! I got sick from food there when I was a kid, and I never went back.

Shipwreck Diner on Main St in Northport is great - great food too - we go there for breakfast all the time.

I have to agree. The one on Commack Road is the best around.

I would HIGHLY recommend NOT going to this diner actually..
IMO it is actually pricier than the avg diner and the food is terrible...
I went once and a few people i know have gone as well and all had the same bad experience...
Although i am no longer a fan of candlelight diner anymore either...

DH and I were driving around after shopping and I said to him "Well, there is Ruby's, Charlie Brown's, Bennigans, oooh they were talking about the new diner on Commack Road.." LOL We went and let me say..It was very good.
I do agree with Jen (redhead) it is a little pricey, but, our sandwiches were excellent!

We were just at Premier Diner on Commack Rd, last night. Huge portions, delicious food and great bread/pasta dishes while you wait.
