Tough time today, anyone else?
I was so excited for Halloween and then this morning I woke up with an overwhelming feeling of sadness. I just can't wrap my head around the fact that after over a year, another holiday has come and gone and there is no LO or pregnancy in sight.
Seeing all the happy families TOT really hurt my heart. And all the FB pics of peoples kids in their costumes almost brought me to tears.
I don't think it helps that now that Halloween is over the major holidays are just around the corner and I cannot even bear the thought of another Christmas dealing with IF.
Anyone else feel like this?

yeah... i assume its because of what im going through at the moment... but i live across the street from a park and they had all the families in the neighborhood meet there and then they do a parade down my street...
and i stood at my door watching them all... and i got really upset... Shaun came up behind me hugged me... he didnt even see me get upset ... but i think he knew what i was thinking...

Uggghhhh, I know exactly how you feel.... holiday after holiday I always feel sad with the same thoughts.... every Halloween I'm thinking of costumes I would be dressing up my baby in and places that we would be going for trick or treating It breaks my heart all the time thinking if that will ever happen. This is just too much to bare...

Re: Tough time today, anyone else?
For all holidays/events/etc. that have happened between August and now I can't help but think I was supposed to be this big happy pregnant lady I had a hard time really enjoying my birthday this year just knowing I wasn't pregnant and was supposed to be very much so.
We have to believe our time will come. Life can be just so unfair.

Ugh, I know it is tough. The holidays make it worse. It WILL happen, you have to believe. My sister said something to me that is so true... We see all of these mommies and wonder "why cant we have a baby?" but we don't know what THIER journey was. Maybe they had it easy having children, but maybe they faced some other great hurdle that we will never know of. Their journey may have been just as hard as our is.
We have to believe that is will happen for all of us.

Re: Tough time today, anyone else?
You know......for the first time probaby in my life.......I couldnt wait for Halloween to be over. I think for me, it was a mix of emotions. After trying for 3 years, I finally got PG in August and lost it at 7 weeks. This weekend I would have been 12 weeks and planned on telling THE WORLD!! And it was news I was never able to share.....or tell. And it sucked!!
Especially since I knew all of my friends were out trick or treating with their little ones. And what was I doing? I was cleaning leaves and paying bills!

I totally agree with this and have thought it to myself too. How will someone know one day when I am walking with my children that I lost my first one at 4 1/2 months? Or, that I went through fertility treatments? You never know what someone's story is.

ITA... it doesnt make it any less sad for people that dont have kids... but you cant look at people with kids and assume that they had it easy...

Re: Tough time today, anyone else?
I don't post much on the IF board, but I struggled with PCOS and tried to get PG for over a year.
Last year at this time I felt the same way. Little kids knocking on my door just made me wish harder for my LO.
Well a little over a week later, on my birthday, I got my BFP. It was the best birthday present that I could have ever received. Last year at this time I didn't know that I was PG, but yesterday I had my 3 month old ladybug answering the door with me to hand out candy.
I hope you all get your own little miracles soon.

Re: Tough time today, anyone else?
I hear ya! Every holiday or events we go to I think how last year I totally thought we'd have a baby with us this year. That's gone on for 2 years for some events and holidays. It's so hard to stay positive sometimes.

Thanks so much for sharing, it's always nice to hear the success stories.
I also have PCOS, if you don't mind me asking, did you do anything to help conceive DD?

I did. I was on Clomid for 3 months with my regular gyno. I then went to an RE and after 2 months I got my BFP.
This was the combination: 2.5mg of Parlodel - For high prolactin levels 1500mg of Metformin 100mg of Clomid (CD 3-7) IUI
