TOUGH night
So apparently, mikayla is still teething. I thought all her teeth were in but it seems like the top canines are still coming through...the point is already through her gums...
My poor baby was up from 7:30-10:30 crying. I took her out of her crib at around 8pm and she kept putting her fingers in her mouth crying "mama mamaaaaaa"  broke my heart....Finally she passed out from sheer exhaustion. Not even motrin helped. I hope tonight is better, I HATE seeing her like that

Oh no, poor baby. I'm so sorry. I hope she feels better! Can you start an extra dose of Motrin or alternate it with Tylenol earlier in the day so she can build up some pain relief?

Poor Baby!! If you dont already have the teething tablets, I highly recommend that you get some...For DS they worked fantastic!

Oh, I have them too 
I use the 1, 2, 3 punch (motrin, orajel and teething tablets) - that used to do the trick, but not last night....

Oh poor Mikayla! Stephanie that's just awful to have to go through that with her and not able to do anything to ease her pain. Ugh Here's to hoping for a better night for BOTH of you

aww that is so hard to bear as a mother, it just breaks your heart when they are in pai and you cannot make it better.

I'm so glad that I did a search on this before I started a new thread. DS has been EXTRA cranky since Sunday. He is sleeping fine at night..... that continues... But the crankiness, whining and clinging is DRIVING ME MAD!!!! I can't figure out ANYTHING else it might be. But I CAN see the tips of the top canines. How long does this process of the canines usually take??? Anyone know?

Well last night was MUCH better, she was just exhausted from the night before that she was asking to go nigh, nigh at 6:30....she went down at 7:15 and slept all the way through until 7am

poor baby - hope it passes soon - i can kind of relate we took dd to the ped on Sat because she was tugging her ear & fussy etc. P.S. doc said its another tooth we'll see by the end of this week - that makes #6 already and she's 10 months!!!
