Total TMI question....
Sorry to be gross.
Does anyone else experience this? I notice that whenever I have my period, it hurts like heck to poop.
I'm not talking painful like constipation pain where it's hard to go and you're straining.
More like going normally but getting what feels like sharp shooting gas pains in your lower abdomen when pooping.
Mind you I only ever experience this when I have my period and only during the first few days of it.
But I do notice it happening almost every cycle lately.
From what I read this is a classic symptom of endometriosis?
I have never been diagnosed with or even checked for endo because I never had a problem conceiving or any other symptoms of it so it's just never been on my radar or something I thought to discuss with my doctor.
But reading up on it, this particular issue of having sharp stabbing pain when going to the bathroom during my period only seems to be a common symptom of endometriosis.
I'll bring it up to the doctor next time, but just wondering if anyone had it and if this was a symptom you experienced.

Total TMI question....
it a combo of hormones, shedding of lining and swollen ovaries. I use to have horrible pain. I had some endo. Still make sure to check with your MD

Yeah I was reading about those things as well.
It feels like my insides are being ripped out when going to the bathroom sometimes.
But only for like the first day or 2 and then not again until the next cycle.
So strange

Sounds like Endo. I have it and it’s no joke. I also get the shooting stabbing when going to the bathroom w AF. Mine often shoots up my butt with the force of lightening too. So that’s fun.
I have endo and adhesions all around my abdomen. I had surgery once and it helped for a while. But I can tell it’s back. I’m just waiting on good old menopause now. BCP can control the growth and help with the pain

YES, for me even a few days after my period the pain was intense sometimes I couldn't even sit
