Torticollis Moms- need some help....
DS is 8mths old and ugh, I just dont see much improvement.
Im told its partly my PT (EI services that come 2x a wk) and also part of it is ME.
I literally try my hardest to excercise him at home and do with some success but its def not daily or as often as it should be.
His range of motion has been better but he still favors that side.
Even the neuro said he wasnt happy when he saw him last and advised us to see a private PT as well. I trek to Queens 1x a wk since she is the guru of dealing with this.
I like his PT and I know she is doing what she knows best. I dont want to see her go. Im sad.
I dont know what to do and I want for my DS to get better.

I rather not place a name on here.
Its confidential for her and us. I dont want to change her...ugh.
I know you started later than we did for DS. He started at 4mths....So maybe Im expecting more than I should.
IDK.

Re: Torticollis Moms- need some help....
I know it's so hard. Especially taking care of twins. We didn't have EI but I went to a private PT. My husband, sister, mom, and myself went to get "trained" to do the exercises for one of my dd.
I was also told not to allow her in a bouncy, swing or carseat. It makes torticollis worse. Of course you can't avoid the carseat but I didn't let her sleep in it anymore.
Also try to do the exercises every diaper change. It helps you remember and once you get into a routine it does gets easier.
eta: i didn't feel there was improvement until she was 1. Then 100 % improvement by 1 1/2.
