Thinking about going to Toronto, but really have zero knowledge as to what there is to do, what area to stay in, etc. Just starting to think about it (It's not too far from where my SS will be going to college, so thought maybe we'd head there after dropping him off, at the end of August) and wondering what info anyone might have about it.

Thanks!

Re: Toronto

I posted about this last week and didn't get much back but two people did respond. I bumped for you.

Thanks! Somehow I missed that. Did you decide where you're going?

Re: Toronto

No, I'm the most undecided traveler ever. LOL. When I was looking at Expedia, I saw a bunch of cheap deals for flights/hotel. The flight is only 1.5 hours so DH & I decided to do it as a weekend trip. Haven't picked a weekend yet though.

Re: Toronto

I went to Toronto a few years ago with a group of friends.
We flew and had a limo pick us up and take us to our hotel. Some in the group drove and stayed overnight in Niagara Falls.
We stayed at SoHo Metropolitan hotel. Rooms were nice and they have an indoor pool. It was a great location and walking distance to a lot.
We went to a Yankees game, also had reservations for dinner at the CN tower. Can't remember the name but there's a popular breakfast place near the hotel that was very good.
It was a fun weekend.
