Top of dresser
What can I put on the top of my bedroom dresser to protect it and also dress it up a little? The dresser is all black and fairly long. I've seen the cloths that look like doilies, but would like a more modern look. Any suggestions?

You could get glass made for the top of it to protect it.

i have a table runner from Target on both dressers in our bedroom - ties them together and protects the surface

i have a table runner as well that my mother bought for me in italy and it is hand made. I also have two smaller ones for my nightstands
