Took my first pre-natal yoga class...
I took my first pre-natal yoga class yesterday and absolutely loved it! I went to Satya Yoga and Pilates in Mt. Sinai and the studio and teacher were so great! She had relaxing music playing, candles lit, etc. She also had bolsters, blocks and blankets to make every pose super comfortable. I definitely want to make this a weekly thing. I hadn't stretched in so long and it felt so good! Anyone in the area I highly recommend!

Sounds amazing!!!! Yoga is sooo good for pregnancy..that stretching is going to help SO MUCH as you get bigger and bigger.

Sounds awesome!! I've never done yoga, and of course I'm starting at 31 weeks  because I'm a procrastinator. I'm glad that you really liked it!!
DH got me a GC to Prana for Christmas...I'm going to call today.

i just asked about this at a place near my office; i wasn't sure when i could start. I'm 14 weeks thursday and she said i could definitely start now, so i'm excited.

That sounds awesome. Between weekly appointments and DS it is virtually impossible for me to make any commitment like that. But anyone that has time should totally do it! It is so healthy for you and baby!

It was $25 for a 1.5 hour class.
Jackie - I have taken yoga before but I think it would be fine for a beginner.
