Too Early?

Hey Ladies,

I've posted a few times on this board, but I'm new to all of this, just started seeing a RE in February. I was put on Clomid for 5 days and my doc said it worked well and that I would O this past weekend which I did. They wanted me to come back in next Monday the 14th which would only be 8 dpo for a sono and bloodwork. My question is doesn't this seem a little early to know if I am preg or not? Or what else would they be checking for? Any help you could provide would be great.

My RE said that at 8dpo they do a blood test to see if you O'd and how well you O'd. He said based on the progesterone levels and a few other hormones they can determine it. He told me it's too early to know about pregnancy, it just gives them more data on your Ovulation. Good Luck!!!!

theyre prob checking your progesterone to make sure you Oed and the sono to make sure you have no leftover follies that will become cysts. they prob wont be testing for pregnancy, nor would they be able to see anything on a sono.
