Too bloated and crampy
I look like Im 6 months pregnant. Is this normal? I dont want to complain, Im so happy about everything I just cant sleep from being so bloated.
Does this get better? Is there a time frame I can look forward to for it to go down?

Re: Too bloated and crampy
Yea, next September unless you deliver earlier
J/k .. The longest I've carried an IVF pregnancy was 8wks and in that time the bloating got a little better but was still there. I remember after my 6wk sono I went to a family thing and people were asking around if I was pregnant. I looked bigger then than I did at 4 months pregnant!! Eh just carry it proud, you earned that bloat!

Re: Too bloated and crampy
Yeah the bloating is crazy. I was wondering if it would go down too but I've discovered that the 50 times I pee qt night makes it feels better

yes!! since you got a BFP for me it lasted about 1.5-2w of being really bad. it started 2 days after BFP and i gained about 9lbs of fluid in 48 hours. by my 6w sono it was under control but still there. im pretty sure my ovaries were still slightly enlarged by my 12w NT scan!! however the painful bloating subsided around 6w and then it was just a little bigger than normal bloat until it became a baby bump somewhere in the 12-14w range.
congrats!!
ETA - i believe i had it worse because my e2 was very high at ER (6000+) and because i initially got pregnant with twins. my betas were on the higher side (197 @ 8dp5dt and 479 @ 10dp5dt) and i think higher HCG levels contribute to the bloating and discomfort.

Re: Too bloated and crampy
I was bloated for the first 10 weeks which is when i had to start wearing maternity clothes. Before that i wore leggings every day. I was a rare case but my ovaries were still very enlarged at my 20 week sono and then again at my 24 week. However the pain and bloatedness decreased by then. So excited for you! Congratulations!!!
