Tomorrow is my last u/s...
until I'm 12 weeks. In fact, it will be my last appointment with my RE, whom I absolutely ADORE.
A part of me is excited that I've gotten this far that I'm being officially released from my RE, and another part of me is SO nervous that I'll have 3 long weeks with no appointments or ultrasounds! What am I going to do without seeing my little latke every week???

I had the same feelings...
When my RE released me I actually had tears spring to my eyes! It is difficult to go from an RE - who sees you every week - to going to an OB/GYN whom you will see only monthly. But it gets easier.
I definitely suffered a bit from separation anxiety!

Oh Beth.. I won't lie.. the transition was not an easy one for me! Those 4 weeks between my last sono and my 12 week ultrascreen were awful for me. Especially since I was (and still am!) such a nervous nelly! After being so closely watched for so long by my RE's office, it was so difficult to make that switch.
My first OB appointment, while exciting as it was...I was soooooo disappointed, because there was no sono, no check for the heartbeat, etc. I had a hard time understanding how they could know the baby was still okay.

Ahhhh yes, the old sonogram withdrawal ! Know that feeling very well...Congrats on moving over to OB  !
