Tokyo Disney ???
Has anyone been there??? I am reading thru trip advisor but would appreciate feedback on here as well.... Common complaint seems to be massive wait times on the lines (3.5 hours!!!,,,fast passes finishing early...) I am interested because it is the only Disney I have not been to I may just go back to EuroDisney but yee gods the prices !!!!!

Re: Tokyo Disney ???
No but I have to say they have some fun looking rides/attractions. Not sure about the very long lines and FP running out. Sounds likeWDW during the busy season. They run out of FP for some rides during non busy season.

Re: Tokyo Disney ???
We waited on one line at WDW for almost 3 hours. WDW routinely runs out of FP in the afternoon for very popular rides. You could use a single rider line to get in faster for some rides. Just as an FYI it is not owned by Disney any more. I have heard good things about it and it looks exciting. What about an Adventure By Disney? I have always wanted to do that.

Re: Tokyo Disney ???
your right! Tokyo disneyland is not owned by Disney (licensed from)- never knew that
just checking Japanese public holidays and they do not seem to fall on the easter week off.
I went to Disneyland CA the day after christmas one year and never again! by 1pm they stopped letting people in -it was that crowded. Another time i went to DisneyWorld in january and the max wait on a ride was 10 minutes- it was wonderful. I am curious about Tokyo though.... The Euro Disney's prices are just outrageous

Re: Tokyo Disney ???
I think it was the time of year you attended DL. Christmas week is the busiest time of year for all of the parks and they routinely close the gates when they get to crowded. I have been there for New Years and had the same experience. We got there at 9 am when the park opened and we were about to leave to go to another park and the people at the gates told us not to leave as we would not be able to get into another park they were already closed - as was the one we were currently inside of. So we ended up staying in the one park we were in all day/night.

Not been to Tokyo Disney but I have been to Sanrio Puroland, I thought they were quite close to each other but I just googled it and I was wrong.

Re: Tokyo Disney ???
I have! It's like a mini-magic kingdom. I was there in December, which was awesome because it was all decked out for Christmas. The lines were really long for the big rides, but everyone is so damn calm and orderly. And I feel like as soon as it started to get dark the place cleared out. We were definitely circling back onto Space Mountain several times later in the night.
Everyone was wearing these ridiculous, gigantic furry mickey ears - grown men and children alike - it was SO weird.
Tokyo is an awesome city. I loved it.

Have you ever noticed what the Japanese tourists are wearing at WDW in Orlando? They seriously crack me up! Always decked out Disney style
