toddlers talking themselves to sleep
omg....lately dd has been babbling to herself, her dolls, singing, kicking the walls for at least 30 mins , sometimes almost an hour at bedtime!! she is not crying and she definitely is tired ready for bed. does anyone else's kid do this?! DH actually went into her room last night after a while and tried to settle her down and told her to go to sleep...it didn't work. Tonight I just ignored it and she went to sleep, but it took almost an hour!! what should i do?!

DD is doing this as we speak-sometimes she rehashes things from the day, sometimes she talks to her dolls (or scolds them )
I think it's how they unwind.
