Toddlers and Pillows
When did you start using a pillow for your DC? And can you recommend yours/where can I find one?

DS1 never cared for anything in the crib. When I changed him to a queen bed when he was 2.5 he got a pillow and blanket. Still at 4 he really doesn't use the pillow. Starts on it then usually moves down the bed and wakes in the middle of the bed. Still using those bedrails. LOL

DD is 18 months old and uses a pillow and blanket. Just a regular like we use. She also likes a fluffy decorative pillow we have for our bed.

I gave her one the other night becasue she kept making a pillow out of all of her babies but she didn't use it. So I took it out. She seems happy with nothing or her "baby pillow" for now. I bought a child-sized pillow at BBB.
ETA: She was 2 in May.

dd started using a pillow around 12 months or so when she quit her crib and went into toddler bed.

DS started using a pillow around 2.5. He does like to be "tucked in" with a blanket, but it's usually off within minutes. He just moves around too much, and doesn't really know how to put it on himself yet.

DS is 19 months and doesn't use anything. Not because I won't give it but because he tosses everything out so why bother!

We adopted DS when he was 21 months old... he's 33 months now. we started him out using a small Pillow Pet as a pillow, and he does sleep on it the whole night.
he loves it, and calls it his "Monkey Pillow"  its the smaller pillow pet, so its a great size for him... I just throw it in the washer whenever I wash his sheets and it comes out fine.

Around 20 months he started using a teddy for a pillow. He didn't get a real pillow unitl he was in his twin bed.

i was told babies don't need pillows so until they transition to the toddler bed, i plan on a breathable blanket only. my twins at 15 months.

My girl LOVES pillows & couldn't sleep without them. She's 18 months now... I really don't remember when we introduced them, but she had head control & was walking and rolling.
My 3 year old DS could care less.

I think I gave the twins pillows at 15m ish. Just a regular pillow. One of my girls was obsessed with them so we gave them to them

DS just turned 2 last month. His ped says no pillows or blankets until 2 years old. At his 2 yr check-up we told the ped that we still use the sleep sack, and he told us we should try to break the habit before we send him off to college
