DD decided she would no longer take her prescription mulit vits with iron and flouride- they do smell HORRIBLE. So she would spit them out.
I brought it up to the ped at her 12 month visit and he said the smell/taste is from the B complex and he wasn't so concerned with her taking it if she eats well.
Instead he recommended Fer in Sol- for iron. It's OTC. I haven't seen it in the stores yet- but have seen it online.
It has the Enfamil logo on it.
He also gave us flouride drops by prescription.

My DS only took vitamins with extra iron for a few months when he was 1 because his 1 year bloodwork came back that he was anemic.
I gave him the liquid prescription vitamins. Once we found out his iron levels went up, the ped had him come off the extra iron vitamins.

BJs brand, they're generic flinstones. A years supply was under $10 and they taste like sweettarts
