toddler sleeping question

my LO is almost 4 and the past few weeks will not stay in her own bed. She tries every excuse to try and come in my bed. When I'm awake I just keep bringing her back, but once I fall asleep, 9 out of 10 times I'll wake up and she's in my bed. She said she was afraid of the dark, so on one side of her room I have a nightlight, on the other side I have a princess light that projects princesses on the ceiling and she also has a dreamlite. any ideas and suggestions are welcome. Please help

I wish I knew the answer. My DS will be 4 the end of May and just started this as well. Literally s few days ago. Before that he was fine going to sleep.

My son turned 5 in Dec. We have had episodes of this for months. First I have found its worse if he is over tired so keeping our schedule is important.

Also he knows he has to ask to come in our bed, so he will wake us if he comes in our room, which gives us the chance to decide to bring him back or let him in.

Finally...bribery! I made a sleep through the night chart. It had two check points... one at 10 nights and another at 25 nights. We let him put a sticker on the chart each morning if he sttn. His prize was $$ have are going on vacation and he is saving his money to buy whatever he wants.

She used to wake me up and ask me, but has now realized I say no most of the time, so she just sneaks in bed and I don't feel her...lol I have a king bed and my DH works midnights

I'm looking into getting a white noise machine, but I will also try the bribery/reward chart also. Thanks

We have a baby gate on DDs door. Its really for her safety bc I don't want her to wander around at night while I'm asleep, especially since our bedrooms are upstairs.

But its also convenient that she cant get out unless we come to get her.
