toddler sleep issues
My DD is 2 years 7 months. She was sleeping in her big girl bed alone in Feb and March. Then in April she developed fears of a few things and is scared to be alone in there even with a light on. I am in the HORRIBLE habit of sleeping with her every night. I need to get out of her bed and back into my own. If I sneak out she wakes up hysterical in the middle of the night and wakes my baby! What can I do to help her sleep alone again. I am losing it, I need to sleep in my own bed.

Re: toddler sleep issues
Are you against bringing her into your bed when she wakes up? Thats what we do with my DD who is about the same age. She starts in her own bed, with me, and when she falls asleep I leave. When she wakes looking for me, either I go get her and bring her to my bed, or she gets out of her bed and comes into our room.

Re: toddler sleep issues
my ds1 starting doing the same thing around that age and we are still battling it. he'll go to bed initially in his room and like clockwork everynight he gets up and comes into our bedroom and climbs into bed. he shares a room with his younger brother who's 15mos old and i'm always afraid he's going to wake him b/c he slams doors behind him. luckily ds2 has never woken up, but every night i feel like im constantly walking him back into bed. he use to be histerical when i put him back, but now he may wimper a little but he'll stay in bed so long as i sit with him for a bit. then i sneak back into bed and he will usually sleep in his for the rest of the night but we still have the occassional night where i have to walk him back to bed for a 2nd time. good luck, but i would just keep putting her back in bed..sorry i dont have better advice.

Re: toddler sleep issues
The only reason why I am opposed to bringing her into my bed is that my 5 month old still sleeps in my room. He has terrible reflux and cannot sleep in his crib. So she wakes him and then I have two babies wide awake in the middle of the night. I am so tired and stressed out over this.
