Toddler rubbing eye
About two weeks ago my 3 yo complained 2 or 3 times if eye pain in his left eye, whimpered a little and rubbed his eye and then quickly moved on. Kids this age generally don't lie about pain so I paid attention but it didn't happen again till today - he briefly complained about eye pain, then said it was all better, but is now rubbing the eye. The we looks fine. No redness etc. he has been batting a cold/allergies off and on too. Any ideas? My ped has Saturday hours so I can call in the am.

Re: Toddler rubbing eye
Same thing happened with DS this week. He said his eye hurt and the next day, he developed pink eye. Being that his eye looks fine, it probably is just allergies. Do they look watery?

Re: Toddler rubbing eye
Could his eyelashes be getting stuck
My son has freakishly long eyelashes and sometimes they get caught in his eye
