Toddler repeating stuff

This is an "is this normal" question

ds is 2.5 and has a great vocabulary, carries on conversations and just never shuts up (which I love!!)

Throughout the day He repeats things, usually parts of songs. Lately, it's "what does the fox say?" or applause by lady gaga. He also repeats from shows he watches, like he was looking through a book and told me it was his "field journal" (Diego)

I have no clue where he learned it but he did and I wish he would un-learn it.
