Toddler Pillow
My LO is 21 months and has been coughing alot at night in his crib, between his colds and back drips- I going to speak to doc about a pillow to elevate him in the crib and see if he is old enough or not
At what age did you start using them? and what brand or style?
TIA

Re: Toddler Pillow
21 months is fine for a pillow. We gave DS a regular pillow.

Re: Toddler Pillow
We had DD start using a pillow around 14 months. It was just a regular pillow we had around the house that was flattened a bit and not so puffy. She was still in her crib at the time.

Re: Toddler Pillow
We started around 12-13 months. We got a toddler pillow off Amazon. It's smaller than regular pillows and he loves it.

Brand doesn't matter. I literally gave him the pillow off of my bed. He had a cold and couldn't breathe so it helped to elevate him. He never gave it back to me! He was in his crib at the time.

I got an organic cotton toddler pillow from Amazon at about 30 months old. I was late to the game though!! You can also roll up a towel underneath the mattress where your DC lays their head.

We never gave a toddler pillow. Just went from nothing to a regular one.

Re: Toddler Pillow
Just ordered an organic toddler one on Amazon, about $15. DD is 28 months. I feel like a regular pillow would just be too big for her especially because she uses nothing now.

Re: Toddler Pillow
Both of my kids had a pillow by the time they were one. I didn't buy anything special, they just got a regular standard pillow with a cute pillowcase.
ETA - I wouldn't spend a lot on a pillow either. I buy the cheap $5 ones at Target for my son because he's a puker so we tend to go through a few pillows with him even with a pillow protector and 2 pillowcases. Even a hint of barf smell skeeves me. I don't feel bad having to replace them when they are only $5.
