toddler piano

I would really like to teach DS to play, but I'm not sure if I should get him a toddler piano or just teach him on keyboard. Unless we move, we don't have room for a piano

He is really into music, bops up and down to any tune, musicians run in my family, id like to start introducing him to read notes at 3.

Any opinions?
