Toddler Moms- Snacks to make with the kids?

I'm babysitting my cousins later tonight- 2 boys- 2yr old and 4yr old.

I trying to think of some fun things to do with them to keep them occupied.

I was thinking of having them helo me make a snack- I want something that can be eaten pretty much right away- nothing like a cake that has to bake for an hour or something.

Any ideas?

Any other activities you can suggest for a couple of rambunctious toddlers?

TIA!

Jello jigglers (you can make the jello before hand, and then have them cut them out)

Dirt pudding (also let the pudding set before they get there)

Ice cream sundaesChat Icon

Have fun!!!

Pudding with whipped cream and fruit?

My nieces/nephews all loved baking brownies with my Mom. They got to do everything themselves (even crack the eggs into a smaller dish and my mom fished out the shells). It was a great bonding experience for everyone and they continue to do "brownie" days with Grandma Chat Icon

I avoid cooking with my kids. Chat Icon I have a tiny kitchen with so little counter space it's really difficult.

As far as activities, most nights to tire them out so after we get into PJs I play these with my kids (2 years and 3.5 years)

Duck, duck goose
London Bridge
Hokey Pokey
Ring around the rosy
Heads, shoulders, knees & toes

We sing and dance. I sing nursery rhymes and the alphabet song in funny voices to make them laugh. They are both really into Old McDonald so they can pick the animals and the Itsy Bitsy Spider. They both like the Bingo song (there was a farmer who had a dog)

HTH!
