My DD is super tall and our pack-n-play isn't really an option anymore when we go away. A lot of hotels don't have crib rentals anymore or what they do have is old and nasty. What do your kids sleep in at hotels or at relatives' houses where no crib is available?
It seems like she is too little for a lot of the travel beds advertised, esp the ones with air mattresses.

DS has been in a bed since he was 13 months old for naps and 16 months for good, so he sleeps in a bed

We just went away for the weekend. We rented a fold away bed from the hotel thinking that DD would sleep on it. She hated it, so DH slept on it for a few hours, then decided it was too uncomfortable, so we all slept together. lol.

We do a room with the two full beds and switch off with who sleeps with him.

When we go to florida, we rent a full size crib (from an outside company). It is very clean and it even comes with sheets and a bumper.
Otherwise, DH and i would switch off sleeping with him in one bed while the other slept in the other bed. Not ideal, but you do what you need to do!
