Toddler Craft Ideas
DD is 2.5 yo and she loves to paint and color. She loves putting stickers on paper but I need more ideas. Pinterest is a little overwhelming so I want to know what crafts do your kids love to do.

I got a book at a Chritmas Tree Shop thats called like " Learn to Paste" or something like that. Basically the adult cuts out things and the kid glues them onto the page (like one page might be a picture of a tree with little apples that I cut out for him to glue on, or another one might be the ocean with little fish for him to glue on). he likes it.
At christmas, I bought pot holder/mitt things, and then had DS put his hand print on them with fabric paint to give to the grandparents- they came out cute and he had fun doing it...just have her wear old clothes int case the fabric paint gets on them! LOL
Also- DS loves those foam craft projects that you can get at michaels or AC Moore. They can be pretty easy to do- just peel and stick.
I also have fun "cooking" with him, too instead of crafts... easy things like pudding, where he can pour in the milk and help hold the hand mixer, maybe use a plastic knife to cut up some fruit to stir into the pudding. Jello is the same idea...and then he can use cookie cutters to cut the jello into different shapes. The other day we made those Irish "potato" candy things, and he had fun rolling them into balls. you can just google "no bake" recipes and get good ideas.

Dot paint is awesome and not messy. They sell different books for the dot paint that is basically outline pictures for your child to paint with. I would take a look at some of the free teacher sites for preschool, you may also find good ideas there.

My son loves glitter and glue... We collect pine cones and put glue on them and then sprinkle glitter on them. We get foam cut outs for the holidays and decorate them.. Pom Poms are great.

A quick piece of advice I learned from DS preschool teacher is anytime you are going to glitter something put the glitter in a shoe box or big ziplock bag. Then put glue where you want the glitter, put the item in the container, and shake.
