Today Was My Stimulation Start Date

Hi Girls,

I was told to come back in on Monday (4 days later)..is this normal? I start my Gonal F with Menopur tonight. I am so excited!

I was glad to see so many women in the waiting room like myself. It made me feel so "not alone" in this battle. We are dealing with severe male factor infertility and doing IVF along with ICSI.

Ladies..how many days did you stim for? What is the average amount until retrieval? I know my book says 8-10..is this correct?

I also did request my blood levels today..they were..

FSH - 4.67
Estradol - 38.9
LH - 1.17
Progesterone - 7.5

Does this sound right to you? I guess each time I go I'll ask so I can compare.

I stimmed from 12/3 to 12/12 (10 days). I think I went in 4 or 5 days after I started sounds normal. I know that at my clinic they always order you about 9 - 10 days worth of stims because thats the average and they dont want to over order since it is so pricey!

Oh good luck! The numbers look good, they are going to watch the estrdiol and they want that to rise. I am on day 6 of stims and they are estimating my retrieval will be Tues or Wed. I had to go back 2 days after starting only because they were closed for New Years the thrid day. You should be fine 4 days after. We are also dealing with severe male factor.
