today my baby sister turns
SWEET 16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am more than twice her age 
I am her big sister. I am the oldest. I raised her when she was a baby.
I have NOOOOO IDEA what to get her. and honestly, cannot afford to go crazy right now...
any suggestions?
she's a typical NYC teenager.

I would get her some type of jewelry. It doesn't have to be expensive. . . but something with meaning behind it.
My sister is 14 years older than me and we are best friends to this day.

I got my sisters the traditional precious moments sweet 16 doll and i had ruby and diamond pendants made for them (birthstone)

I would say treat her to a mini-spa. Then she can feel all "grown up" and this can be something she can always remember.
