Today is the brunt of the storm
Just be aware as you are driving. With this wind there will be a lot of debris,
There might also be some limbs that fall etc.
Just be aware while you are out.

It's so nasty out.
I just stood at the bus stop waiting for DD for half an hour. Apparently the buses are a little off schedule and discombobulated with it being the first day.
I am soaked to the bone, even with an umbrella.

Where are you guys? I'm in Stony Brook and aside from a little rain (mostly a drizzle) there is nothing going on here. Slightly breezy but that's about it. Is the east end of the island getting this worse?

Yes.
They showed a pic of Riverhead vs. Woodbury today and it was like night and day.
They said East End is getting the brunt of what's left of that storm
I am in Holbrook. It rained ALLLLL day- just a steady miserable rain and a cold wind and was just steady raining hard while I stood at the bus stop just now.
Windy too.
Debris all up in my pool.

Today is the brunt of the storm
Its windy in Kings Park. A little bit of rain. But windy. I have debris down all over (leaves, SMALL sticks from trees. My yard is covered.

Today is the brunt of the storm
We are in Plainview and today the winds completely knocked over our huge BBQ. Thank god my dad took out the propane tank, as the thing was clicking to try and turn on. Pieces everywhere. I did not think it was that bad but apparently I was wrong
