Today is just not my day

I called the place of where I need to go for the sono. The woman was quite rude to me in explaining how the office works when setting up an appointment. Then she asked me if I had been there before. I said as a matter of fact I have been there before and I saw so and so doctor. Her attitude changed really fast once she realized I had been there before.

Then her rudeness came back and said well we dont have any appointments until after Sept 4. I said oh well that is just dandy since my due date is Sept 5 and I had a doctors appointment this morning and my doctor is concerned that this baby is big. She said well do you know that for a fact. I said well if he told me it's fact. She said oh well in that case we dont have any appointments until after Sept 4 so I would call your doctor and tell him we dont have any appointments and we can not accomodate you so you need to go to the hospital if you need to have such a sono done.

I called my doctor and left him a nice message and now they have to send all the papers to the hospital and cant get this sono scheduled until the hospital has the papers.

I would have called back and asked to speak to someone nicer. You can't tell me they do not have 1 appointment open, and that just because your due date is one day, they now have NO openings. Sounds like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

That was my thought with my due date so close and the doctors concern they would be a little bit more accomodating. What bothered me a little more was she knew that right off the top of her head. She didnt take a moment to look or even act like she was looking. It was right away well we have no appointments. I felt like asking well do you know that for a fact.

My doctors office is really wonderful so I am sure they'll figure something out for me. It's just fustrating.
