Today is a bad day
I just feel so sad. I feel like all around me are pregnant women. My sister is pregnant (without even trying) and now my mom is bugging me when am I going to be pregnant. We haven't shared with anyone in our familes what's going on and now I am just having a big pity party for myself.
All day today I just kept thinking that I'll never be a mother.  I can't share this with DH because I know he'll become even more upset and I need to be strong for him.
I don't know why I'm venting but thanks for reading this.

I'm sorry that you are having a bad day. I have lots of those too.
I see pregnant women everywhere...my office must have at least 10 of them right now.
One thing that always makes me feel better is knowing that only DH and I can have OUR kids. This somehow makes me feel less jealous of others.
I feel exactly the same way about "protecting" DH. Lately I've been letting my feelings come through though. Last month he was mad because he said I was being "nonchalant" about it (when I got AF) but really I was just trying to make it easier for him.

I can relate as well! This has been an extremely hard week! All of our friends are pg, and everyone keep harassing me about when am I getting pg. I just want to scream and tell them that I can't.
I feel like I may never be a mom as well. I started looking into adoption, if this IF treatment doesn't work out and actually I feel a little better knowing that there are other options if needed!
Vent away!!

We all have days like that. It has been really bad for me lately and I am now seriously looking into seeing a therapist.
This board is a good place to vent because people here understand what you are feeling. You are not alone.

You are venting because you need to and you are venting to us because we understand. On one level or another, regardless of what brings us to these boards, we have all felt the way you do. There is a sense of despair and anger and we feel and it is so intense at times - very natural and normal.
Knowing you and your DH as well as I do, I know that you will be excellent parents. Again I say you WILL be excellent parents. Like my DH says, good things do happen to good people. You are good people.
My good friend, I offer you my best wishes and  . We are in this together with you.

Hollie sorry to hear you are feeling this way but you are not alone...you don't know how many days I have/had like this....but like Leslie said..good things happen to good people...

for you! i totally know where you're coming from! my situation is a little bit different becase i've known about my infertility since i was young ( i have a genetic disorder that makes my ovaries unformed). so i've had a lot of time to "deal" with it. but its gotten harder since i met dh and met the man i want to raise kids with. BUT, something my mom used to tell me when i was little has always stuck with me. she used to say " you CAN be a mom someday, you'll just have to do it a little bit differently" so it really just reminds me that there are options out there, and that like somebody else said, good things happen to good people.
also... its a very personal choice, but maybe its time to start telling some people in your family about your IF. then, maybe they'll stop asking all the questions ( which i know sting your heart every time). i know thats helped me a lot.
good luck, and just remember- YOU"RE NOT ALONE!!!
