blow dry and use a flat iron? Just blow dry? Or just flat iron?

I ask because I used the maxi glide today (I consider it a flat iron) and man...is my hair STRAIGHT!!! I almost wonder why I bother blowing it out.Chat Icon

Re: To get your hair straight, do you...

I blow it dry, then straighten with the iron, but I actually just haphazardly blow my hair dry without brushing or anything, so it takes like 5 minutes, and at the end of blowdrying it is a crazy frizzy mess. Then I run my babyliss straightener over it in giant pieces really haphazardly also, for just a few minutes, and presto it is magically straight. It is also really soft this way because this limits the amount of heat on my hair and reduces styling time.

Same here.

If I have somewhere fancy to go, I take the time to actually blow it out nice and then straighten it.

If I have used the straightener a few days in a row, then I will just blow it out to give my poor hair a rest day.

I have to blow dry it first because I have super tight curly roots and its very hard to get the flat iron to flatten my roots. At the salon, the roller set, blow dry and flat iron. Its a processChat Icon
