To call the OB, or not to call....

OK, so I'm sick as a dog. Last night I got no sleep at all and kept running low grade temps (99.3-100) "The Book" says to call if you are running temps OVER 100 but I'm just nervous.

You know me, I KNOW there is some woman in labor who is over there CURSING me out becasue I'm taking the OB away from her side to answer my stupid questions..

Help!

Personally, I wouldn't call b/c there is something going around and I'm not sure they can recommend much other than keeping yourself hydrated and rest. BUT, if you feel like you need to call, you should - that's what your MD is there for. Feel better Chat Icon

Really...101 is the key temperature(according to my OB). Since your uterus is warmer than your body, the baby is at 103. If it reaches 100.5, I would call!! That's just what I've been told in the past!

My Dr. told me to call right away if I had any kind of fever - so in this case I would call and I'm not a big one for calling the Dr.
