TMI...but i need help
Constipation!!!!!!!!! I went to the bathroom thismorning and felt like i was giving birth...i was almost crying the pain was so bad and when it was all over, my butt feels like i have blown it out, it is burning and stinging...please help

I've always had a problem with constipation so when I became pregnant I immediately started taking Colace every night and it has really helped alot. You should try it.

It is awful. I had it pretty bad in the 1st trimester, and a little in the 3rd, though not so bad. Colace is supposed to work though I didn't use it. My doctor recommended Metamucil, and that worked like a charm for me.
Also, try to drink a lot of water and get some exercise when you can--I think that helped me too. Increasing fiber intake can't hurt either, but that didn't do much for me.

I was eating Fiber 1 bars, Raisin Bran, and putting Fibersure in my drinks. That helped a lot.
My doc said anything by Metamucil is safe.
