TMI...BUT...

Does anyone get a burning sensation down there when you are doing the deed with DH or getting an internal sonogram? I noticed it started at about 20 weeks. It would burn during the deed and slightly afterwards. The other day i had an internal and had a burning sensation again that went away right when she took it out.

Did anyone else have this?? I am thinking maybe i have an infection and should mention it to my doctor?

Thanks. Chat Icon

Re: TMI...BUT...

This happened to me and it turns out I dried up down there and that was causing the burning sensation. If lube doesnt help, i would call the dr, yeast infections are common and treatable while pg.

I don't think it's an infection because I'm having that too. It wasn't the whole PG either. I think it's the hormones changing the skins sensitivity or something like that. It would also stop as soon as it's "out". I guess it just comes with being PG!

I don't get burning, but it is very very sensitive and not in a good way (or bad, but it's weird to explain).

This is why we are lacking in the intimate department. Chat Icon

I don't think i am dry. It's like a little bit inside and not near the outside. And it's like a burning a never felt before. I will check with my doctor to make sure. They have tested me once before for infection and it came back negative.

Re: TMI...BUT...

So TMI, but I have the same, not during (no probs there, the hormones are good for me), but after like someone put a torch down there. Sitz baths make it go away within a few mins.
