TMI question about peeing
Ok, I'm hoping this is happening to someone else, that will make me feel much better...
So, just as any typical pregnant woman would, I pee about 10 times a day, not including the two times I get up at night. But I'm finding that sometimes I really have to push in order to pee. The sting is there, but it won't just come out the way it normally does.
Could this have to do with constipation? It took me 5 minutes to pee before!

Re: TMI question about peeing
I have noticed my pee much slower as well. Sometimes I feel it wasn't even worth the effort of going even though I had to.
I do not have any pain though

Re: TMI question about peeing
I have trouble completely emptying. Lipglossjunky73 taught me to lean forward. See if that helps you.

Re: TMI question about peeing
Also, make sure you dont have an infection. Pregnant women are more prone to infections and that could be causing it too. Definately mention it to your dr

Re: TMI question about peeing
YUP! I've had the same thing my whole pregnancy. It just takes me forever to #1- get started to pee and #2- pee (comes out slow).
Almost like when pre-pregnancy and you knew you had to pee, but you held it for a very long time. Then when you go to pee, it takes a few seconds to come out and is very very slow.
Yeah same thing!

Re: TMI question about peeing
Maybe you have a UTI? I noticed that since I started the antibiotic I have been getting such relief when I pee! No stinging and feeling like I have to go but nothing comes out. I still go about 500 times though a day

I also had the same problem with the stinging sensation a few weeks back and thought I had a UTI, but the doctor said it was that the baby was putting pressure my bladder and other areas. I also lean forward when I have to go, and though I feel like I should pee like a racehorse only a thimble full comes out.

Re: TMI question about peeing
I think, if you're having trouble emptying, it's usually the way the baby is positioned on your bladder. I remember feeling like I was going to die b/c I had to pee so bad, and then a dribble, nothing, dribble, etc. Annoying!
