TMI ? about pink CM

I'm just 7 weeks today and for the past 2 or 3 days I've suddenly had a surge in CM. I read that that's normal, but tonight it's suddenly got a light pink tinge to it. Sorry if this bit is TMI...I'm not actually "spotting" though - I only see it on the TP when I wipe in the bathroom. Can this be normal too? I'm trying to find info on it, but I can't seem to find anything and it's making me a little nervous...TIA!

UPDATE: Thanks ladies - I'm getting scared now though

I just had some bright, bright red blood mixed in and I had some sharp pains before...now I have a dull achy cramping feeling. Thank god I'm going to see the doc in 2 1/2 hours...I'm so scared I'll keep you posted...

I would call your OB and mention what is happening to you, but I have to say I had the same thing when I was around 4-5 weeks and then again at about 8 weeks. It was a beigish/super light pinkish CM and I was so extremely worried (all was OK I am almost 34 weeks now!!). Drink plenty of fluids and take it easy but like I said before its always good to call the doc so they are aware (they may even do a sono to make sure everything is OK).

Thanks so much! I've been pretty nervous, but that sounds exactly like what I have. I just called my doc. I had my 1st "real" appt. scheduled for the 12th, but they just told me to come in tonight for a checkup instead...hopefully all is well! Thanks again

Totally fine. At about 6 weeks I had brown spotting for 8 days and it was fine... so you are ok with increased CM with a pink tinge.

You just have to try to remember that everything is in Gods hands and you can't control what happens at this point. I did have some pink spotting and even a little red. I went to the ER not necesseray but just to feel better. I hope that everything will be ok!
