TMI - muscus plug or discharge?

I did a search and couldnt find a real answer... and I dont want to call my mom and send her into a panic...

Im 37 weeks and havent seen the mucus plug and dont have any tinted color, but i did have a little more discharge than usual - surprisely I thought i peed by pants for a second....

is this the start of something??

do I call the doctor???

I think the mucus plug would be obvious, from the descriptions I have seen on here.

Increased discharge is supposed to happen towards the end--- and there are times when I feel something and think ooohhh maybe it's my MP, but it just looks like discharge

yeah - i think it was nothing.. not much since - DARN!!!

but if i do miss the mucus plug, is it supposed to be colored or bloody from then on???

from what I understand-- the loss of the mucus plug and the bloody show are not mutually exclusive. So, you can lose your plug, then have the bloody show days after that, OR it can happen at the same time. I think

Whatever-- when you have globs coming out of you-- you are getting close!

mucous plug is much different than regular discharge. You'll get more discharge as you head into the end of your third trimester, but trust me on this, you'll have absolutely no doubt when you lose our plug. It looks like a brown/red tinged glob of snot
