Tipping contractors?
We're having painters and floor guys come in to do work. Do we have to tip them? Its the owners we're dealing with directly if that matters at all.

I seriously think the idea of tipping is out of control
I don't get tipped for doing my job
I feel the only time you should tip is if someone goes ABOVE AND BEYOND
so, my answer would be no, unless they do something extra special 
I would provide beverages though

nope. i tipped carpet installers once, only because i was really preggo and wanted my couch back in the room to put my butt on it! i did 20.00 each dude.
it was so worth it.
but, if they only installed carpet, i wouldn't have given them a dime. call me cheapo, i am not a millionaire!
