How much do you tip your colorist?
How about the person who cuts and blow dries it?
How about if it's the same person who colors and blows it out?

you tip based on percentage. like a restaurant 15-20% if you are satisfied and happy.
if you want to marry your stylist...you can tip more of course.
so ie...100 dollar service ....$15-20 dollars is very appreciated xo

I agree with this, except I never gave less than 20%, even when I was less than thrilled. I usually tip the shampoo person $3, occasionally I give $5 if they do an extra condition treatment or something special. I always wonder if that's cheap on my part.

I tip my hair girl 20%. When I get highlights, she does that too... so I just do 20% of the total no matter what.

Always 20% even when I'm not happy which really irritates me  I usually just round up when I calculate the percentage so its usually a few dollars more
