tip the owner?
i am going to my usual salon today to get my hair highlighted and blown out, no haircut. my usual woman wont be there so i will be seeing the owner. ive always heard that you dont tip the owner. is this true? if not, how much do you tip on an 85 dollar job?

My guy is also the owner of his salon. I never tip him but I do tip his assistant well.

I perosnally never understood this. Owner or not, they are providing a service. I go to the owner at my nail salon and I tip her.
I go to the owner at the hair salon for make-up and I tip her too.
